Stop Being Stuck® – Together
Because Relationships Are Built By Two People
When relationships become difficult, most couples focus on the problems between them.
The arguments. The misunderstandings. The frustration. The distance. The loss of trust.
The challenge is that relationships do not exist in isolation.
They are shaped by two people, each bringing their own beliefs, experiences, expectations, fears, hopes and learned behaviours.
That is why Stop Being Stuck® – Together begins with the individuals before focusing on the relationship.
By understanding ourselves more clearly, we become better equipped to understand each other.

What Is Stop Being Stuck® – Together?
Stop Being Stuck® – Together is a structured coaching programme for couples who want to better understand themselves, their relationship and what needs to happen next.
Some couples want to reconnect. Some want to improve communication. Some are navigating trust breaches, major life changes, illness, retirement, separation or uncertainty about the future. Others simply know that something needs to change but are not sure where to begin.
This programme creates space for honest reflection, adult-to-adult conversations and practical steps forward.
There is no blame. No taking sides. No score keeping.
The aim is to help both partners better understand themselves, each other and the relationship they are creating together.
Why We Start With The Individuals
Most couples programmes begin by focusing on the relationship.
I take a different approach.
Before any joint work begins, each partner completes the full Stop Being Stuck® Individual Coaching Programme.
This creates an opportunity for both people to better understand:
- Their beliefs and behaviours
- Their relationship patterns
- Their communication style
- Their values and expectations
- Their confidence and self-worth
- The experiences that may still be influencing them today
In my experience, meaningful relationship change becomes much easier when both people first do some work on themselves.
Stage 01 – Individual Stop Being Stuck® Coaching
Each partner completes the full Stop Being Stuck® Individual Coaching Programme.
This includes:
Personal Synopsis
At least 72 hours before your first session, you will each submit a personal synopsis. There is no special format. Simply tell me what you think I need to know. Many people write one to three pages. Some write more. Some write less.
The purpose is not to produce a perfect document. The purpose is to help you begin making sense of your own story.
Two Individual 90-Minute Sessions
Together we explore:
- What has brought you here
- What feels stuck
- Personal patterns and behaviours
- Beliefs that may be helping or hindering you
- Influences from family, relationships and life experiences
- What may need to change moving forward
Individual Reflection Period
Over the following weeks, you begin putting your learning into practice. Each person undertakes this work independently.
Individual Review Session
Approximately 4–6 weeks after beginning the programme, each partner has a 60-minute online review session.
This allows time to reflect on progress, challenges and insights before moving into the relationship-focused stage.
Confidentiality Matters
Each person is coached as an individual.
Everything discussed within your individual coaching sessions remains confidential.
I do not share information between partners.
What you choose to share with one another is entirely your decision.
This creates a safe space for honest reflection and personal growth.
Stage 02 – Relationship Reflection
Once both partners have completed their individual Stop Being Stuck® work, you will each complete a second synopsis.
This time the focus is the relationship itself.
You’ll be invited to reflect on:
- Where the relationship is today
- What’s working well
- What feels difficult
- Your hopes for the future
- Areas where you’d like things to improve
I review both submissions and look for:
- Shared themes
- Communication patterns
- Expectations and assumptions
- Relationship strengths
- Areas of misunderstanding
- Behaviour patterns
- Influences from previous experiences and relationships
This helps create a picture of the relationship from both perspectives.
Stage 03– Joint Coaching Session One
Our first joint session lasts approximately 90 minutes.
Together we begin exploring:
- Relationship patterns
- Communication habits
- Areas of misunderstanding
- Shared strengths
- Insights gained through the individual coaching work
This is not about blame. It is not about proving who is right.
The goal is to create respectful adult-to-adult conversations where both people feel heard, understood and valued.
The aim is always to work from an “I’m OK, You’re OK” position.
Stage 05– Joint Coaching Session Two
Our second 90-minute session focuses on the future.
Together we explore topics such as:
- Hopes and aspirations
- Shared goals
- Expectations
- Boundaries
- Respect
- Communication
- Affection and intimacy where appropriate
- Building a healthier relationship moving forward
Every relationship is different.
If your focus is rebuilding trust, navigating illness, responding to a major life event, considering separation or managing another significant challenge, the session will be tailored to your circumstances.
There is no rigid script. The work reflects your reality.
Stage 04– Shared Activities And Reflection
Between sessions, you will complete a series of guided activities designed to help you continue learning about yourselves and each other.
These activities may include:
- Listening exercises
- Reflection activities
- Values discussions
- Future planning conversations
- Exploring hopes and aspirations
- Relationship strengths exercises
The emphasis is on curiosity, understanding and learning.
Stage 06– Joint Coaching Session Three
Our third 90-minute session creates space for sharing, listening and learning from one another.
Together we explore:
- What each person has learned
- What needs to continue
- What needs to change
- What each person needs moving forward
- Practical agreements and commitments
For some couples, this creates renewed connection and a stronger relationship. For others, it provides clarity.
Sometimes the outcome is moving forward together. Sometimes it is creating a respectful separation. Both can be healthy outcomes.
The aim is not to save every relationship. The aim is to help people move forward with greater understanding, honesty and dignity.
Stage 07 – Joint Review Session
Approximately 12 weeks after the programme begins, we meet for a 60-minute online review session together.
This gives us an opportunity to:
- Review progress
- Celebrate successes
- Explore any challenges that remain
- Reflect on what has changed
- Consider what support may be helpful moving forward
Some couples leave the programme feeling clearer, more connected and more confident about their future together. Others gain clarity about changes that still need to be made.
Whatever the outcome, the aim is to help both people move forward with greater understanding, honesty and confidence.
My Approach
I am an Advanced Paseda360 Practitioner and fully accredited to deliver the Stop Being Stuck® programme.
I also draw upon Positive Psychology, NLP, Clinical Hypnotherapy, Event Havening and Limitless Light Therapy where appropriate.
There is no one-size-fits-all approach.
The tools I use will depend on you, your relationship and what you are hoping to achieve.
Some couples benefit from exploring beliefs and behaviours. Others need practical strategies, emotional processing or simply a different way of understanding each other.
Together, we’ll find the approach that best supports the changes you want to make.
